About a month ago, my wife and I decided to challenge our selves to really get into the best physical condition that we can. I thought of myself as being in good physical condition because of my involvement in soccer as a coach as well as a player.
My wife, on the other hand, is not a very physical and active person. She will look for the easy way other than exercise to get the job done, if at all possible. So by her agreeing to this challenge was very surprising, to say the lease.
Our targeted goal was to lose stomach fat.
With all of the different programs that are available which guarantee to help get you in the shape, I always wonder what is the best way to lose stomach fat.
At the time of our decision my daughter was doing a workout program of her own. She was it doing right at home along with one of her girlfriends. I observed them a several time. It seem that they were really enjoying it as it did not appear physically stressful. I know that my wife will be successful if it is not physically stressful for her.
I ask my daughter how she likes it in order to get some feedback then decided that we, my wife and I, was going to do the exact program.
This particular workout program worked very well for us. It delivered what it promised with its targeted exercises. I am, so far, pleased with my results. My wife is also very happy with hers.
There are three things that I have learned during this entire process when indulging in any workout routine. These things are:
- Find a workout program
- Enlist support
- Stick to the program
Find a Workout Program
Finding a workout program can sometimes be daunting and discouraging because of all of the many programs that are readily available. Ask your friends and acquaintances who you know has done or who is currently involving an exercise program. Solicit honest feedback from them so you can make an inform decision about the program that you are looking to join.
As with us, we got feedback from our daughter about the program that she was currently involved in.
Enlist Support
Beside finding a good quality work out program, enlist support from family and friends ans love ones is vital to your success. You can find support by asking a friend or family member to join you.
My wife and I support each other as we workout by given encouragements and praises as we go through each phase.
The support and motivation that you share among each other is what is strongly needed at time to get you through when you feel like giving up or on days when you just don't feel like working out.
Stick to the Workout Program
In addition to finding a workout program and enlisting the support of family, friends and love ones, it is very important that you stick to the program through its entirety so that you give your self a fair shot with the workout program.
Develop a schedule for each day of the week. Establish a time of day to do your workout that is convenient for you. Try not to workout on Mondays 5:00 AM, on Tuesdays at 3:00 PM and then on Wednesday at 8:00 PM. Inconsistency is a recipe for failure.
Try to avoid working out at in-consistent times each day. Working out at a consistent time will get your body and mind conditioned for the extortion at that specific time of day.
My wife and I work out consistently at 5:00 PM each day.
Find a time that will work for you, put it on the calendar and stick to it.
My wife and I, are very please, after a month, with the results we have seen with the program that we have chosen. We are beginning to see signs of improvement in our stomach area, one of our targeted goal.
So in my opinion, one of the best way to lose stomach fat is chose your workout program wisely, enlist support from family, friends and love ones and most of all stick to the program by establishing specific time to conduct your workout.
Doing this will give you the greatest chance to accomplished your workout goals.
