Juice Fasting Recipes for Weight Loss - What You Need to Know Before You Start

To get effective results using juice fasting recipes for weight loss, proper planning is needed. You need to take the following factors into consideration,

-A practical set of good juice fasting recipes books. With a set of 2 or 3 juice recipe books, you can compile practical recipes suitable for your needs and lifestyle. These juice fast recipe books are inexpensive and are available on the net in paperback and kindle editions.

-A good and a powerful juicer machine that can work on hard fruits and vegetable in your recipes like carrots and beetroots. If you don't have a good juicer, you wont be able to juice some ingredients or your juicing will be very uneconomical as not all the juice will be extracted.

-Body mass index. Your body mass index will show how much weight you need to lose or gain. This will form the basis of the ingredients for the juice fast recipes. For example, if you are overweight, your will need to reduce or eliminate fatty fruits like bananas and avocados in your juicing regime.

-Availability of ingredients. Some of the ingredients in the recipes like pineapples, spinach and carrots are critical to your success, so if they are out of season, you might as well postpone your juice fast.

-Your medical condition. Be sure to consult your doctor if you have a condition. Some of the recipes especially for the short term programs are very effective and intense and may cause discomfort like nausea or craving for sweet things, so be sure to get your doctors go ahead.

-Budget. You may need to set aside a specific juice fast budget especially if you have to invest in equipment like the juicer as they will set you back a few hundred dollars. The vegetables and fruits also have a cost element. However, the investment is worth every penny.

- A juice fast can take from 5 days to 2 months. The shorter the period, the more intense is the program, So, if you are just starting out, you may need to select a time when you are most comfortable and out of your normal schedule. You will need to set a regular time of the year when you are sure you will complete the program.

Once you have your recipes and your equipment ready, and have tuned your mind to start the juice fast, pick a starting day and begin to enjoy the benefits of juice fasting recipes.
