Understanding how to manipulate the body’s internal mechanism, is fundamentally the most important tool necessary in achieving fast and lasting weight loss results.

2) The internal mechanism that I referred to earlier is known as the body’s metabolism. The majority of successful lifestyle plans or diets, in some shape or form, have created methods to stimulate the body’s metabolism into performing at its optimum fat burning level.

3) Look for a program that places an emphasis on healthy fats and consumption of protein portions no larger than a deck of cards. The intake of the right fats and proteins will help to engage the body’s metabolism.

4) A program that will make weight loss easy focuses on limiting carbohydrate intake. Carbohydrates should be limited to the simplest form, those found in fruits and vegetables. A combination of good carbohydrates, healthy fats and lean proteins will have a stimulating effect on the body’s metabolism. Diet plays an important role in speeding up the body’s metabolism, which in turn, burns fat.

5) Quicker weight loss results can be achieved by simply eating the right foods at the right times. Eating less, more often, will keep your metabolism engaged for longer periods of time. Eating 5-6 small meals is more beneficial than a large breakfast, lunch and dinner. Remember, when your metabolism is working at its peak, it's a fat burning machine.

6) If losing fat is your only goal than manipulating your metabolism by choosing the right foods and eating at the right times will definitely make weight loss easy. If your motivation is to look good and lose weight as fast as possible, then you must add exercise to your weight loss program. Weight loss strictly by food selection and calorie restriction comes with a cost, muscle loss. If exercise is not an integral component of a weight loss program, then you can be assured that a good portion of your weight reduction would come in the form of lean muscle loss. Many studies have demonstrated that exercise will drop inches from your waist while showing no change on the scale.
