With our busy and hectic lives it has become habit to just stop by the fast food joint on the way home for dinner and sometimes on the way to work to stop by for breakfast. Because of this and other poor choices of what we eat, the rises in obese and overweight Americans have become alarming. Because of this we have become inundated with quick fix weight loss products and pills, some of which if taken can cause serious and permanent damage to our bodies.

A lot of people are under the impression that if they eat less, cut out meals, than they can lose weight quickly. Looks good on paper but it is not a realistic or healthy approach when taken from theory and put into action.

The rate that a person loses weight is determined by what sort of food you eat and how often and also an exercise regime. Also you would need to eat more as far as the number of meals is concerned; you would need to eat about 5 meals a day consisting of smaller portions with more vegetables, fruits, and nuts.

Losing an average of about 2 lbs. per week would be what you should expect, you may lose more initially depending on weather you have water weight, but usually you should expect about 8 lbs. per month..

There is no quick or overnight solution for quick weight loss. So don’t go for these quick fix weight loss claims as losing too much weight too fast carries its own set of problems from having skin that hangs off you which in most cases would require an operation to remove.
