8. Read what you're about to eat. You need to know what your food contains. Otherwise, you may consume more calories and fats than you need. So, if you don't practice that, start doing it.

9. Don't Eat At Night: Some people like to snack at night, I know sometimes I do. Having snacks at night will help pile on the weight as they are usually fatty foods such as, chocolate, crips, biscuits, try and not eat at least 3 hrs before retiring.

10. Ramp Up Your Metabolism – Did you know that some spices and condiments help in thermogenesis, the production of heat, which assists in burning fat. Adding ginger, peppers, allspice, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, turmeric, etc. can keep the fat burning engine in optimum performance. You might like to try some Wasabi, or chutney or salsa—they are all a bit spicy but hey, just try it and see what you think?—also use garlic and onions often in your cooking.

11. Make A Checklist Of The Foods That You Eat. As I stated above, eating a good amount of vegetables and fruits every morning is really good. This is because these types of food digest bit by bit meaning they can make you feel fuller for much longer not like rice or the good old pasta which will make you feel full for just a short time.
