Simple And Easy Weight Loss Tips

After many years of self-experimentation with so many diets and exercise routines and spending countless amounts of money on expensive gym memberships and nutritional supplements.

I've discovered something that quite literally transformed how I was able to manipulate my weight and lose it in both a simple and straightforward way.

Today I'm going to share these simple and easy weight loss tips with you.

I'll break this down into two topics.

The first being diet and probably the greatest of the two if you're looking to lose weight. Then the second exercise. The catalyst that boosts your weight loss schedule further.

How I got here.

I was so tired of over thinking and over analyzing everything I read about weight loss and exercise.

Don't eat this, do eat this. Exclude this food group, include this one. The rules seemed to change each month.

I filled my head and paralysed me into taking no action. It consumed mental RAM that could have been better used elsewhere. So I made a simple plan.

So Here's Exactly What I did...

I intermittent fasted, for me this meant missing out breakfast and stopping eating at 8 pm the previous evening.

I ate regular foods during the eating phase; I'll write another post soon about ways to boost weight loss in the eating phase but as long as I went 16 hours without food, bearing in mind 9 of which I was asleep and then only drank water, coffee, green tea, mate tea and other herbal teas, all without milk I lost fat and quickly too.

It worked twofold, firstly without breakfast I naturally consumed fewer calories but the extended period of not eating lowered my blood sugar and insulin levels to allow my body to start tapping into fat stores.

The plan was stop eating at 8 pm and begin eating at midday the following day. There's a whole host of other useful stuff going on here too, but I'm focusing this on weight loss today. I'll cover more on a separate post.

My Simple Exercise Schedule

I did two things for my exercise, and they were super simple.

First I walked in the morning in my fasted state, I usually went out for half an hour, since my blood sugar levels were low my body would be tapping into that fat for energy.

The second thing I did was lift a kettlebell, I only did two exercises, and if I got too busy with family or work, I just did one. The whole thing took me 10 minutes in total.

Here's My Exact Plan

I didn't eat anything from 8 pm until midday the following day; I did have tea, coffee, green tea, etc. as above. I excluded milk when fasting too.

I did ten sets of ten kettlebell swings and I did this six times a week. If I was feeling good, I also added in 5 x 1 Turkish get ups using the same kettlebell which was 24kg.

That's it in a nutshell. I'd dropped down to 10% body fat on this simple schedule, with no fancy equipment, supplements or having to count calories.
