In this article, I will share with you the starting point on how to eat health and how to reduce weight naturally.
It seems like every time you turn around, there's another new fad diet plastered all over the TV, magazines, and on the radio. You may ask yourself, why are there so many diets out there. The fact is that most diets just don't work. The reason these diets keep popping up, is because it's a multimillion dollar industry and a chance to make a lot of money when people try them. Then when they discover that that particular diet doesn't work for them they jump to the next new fad diet. The truth lies not in dieting, but in learning how to eat healthy for our body type to lose weight. Diet companies don't make money on teaching people how to eat healthy and they certainly don't have the time or resources to analyze our bodies specific needs.
Here is the first place to start, but follow me here for a second. You see, diet and dieting are two different things. For instance when we talk about a wild animals diet which would refer to what this animal eats in the wild, we don't picture him measuring out meal proportions and taking pills and getting on a treadmill. No, we realize it's just referring to the foods available to that animal within that animal's natural habitat. This also applies to humans. Where it gets tricky is, humans have a lot more choices on what to eat. In the array of foods available to the human, there are a lot of possible bad choices. So while foraging through the grocery store for our next meal we need to use something called common sense. Let's use an example by asking ourselves the question. If I choose to be healthy, should I take up cigarette smoking or should I not take up cigarette smoking? Well, duh!! So, now ask yourself, if I choose to be healthy, should I buy healthy foods to eat or should I buy junk foods? Now we all know that if we don't have any junk food in our house it's difficult to eat it and because we stock only healthy foods to eat, then it becomes easier to manage our health and weight.
The concept here is, added in the good and crowd out the bad.
So our first lesson in common sense with regards to eating healthy starts at the grocery store. The choices that we make there are what ends up at home and available to us in our own natural habitat. Now we can begin to enjoy our new and improved dietary choices as we forage through our kitchen cupboards and refrigerator, finding only healthy foods to eat.
So, how often do you see an overweight wild animal anyway? There's a lot we can learn from nature...
