Take Your Doctor's Advice If He Tells You To Lose Weight

How would you feel if your doctor told you to lose weight or you would die? Would you continue your unhealthy eating habits, such as choosing sweet or salty foods when you want a snack, rather than healthier foods? Would you keep eating out of nervousness or boredom, rather than talking with someone when there is something bothering you? Would you maintain your sedentary lifestyle, spending most of the day sitting on the couch, watching television or playing computer games? Some people would likely continue doing what they had been doing because they enjoy their activities and because they want to be in control of their lives. They do not want other people telling them what to do. Other people, however, would get scared. They would not want to die before they had had a chance to live. They would want a chance to get their dream job, for example. They would also want to continue to spend time with loved ones and enjoy activities that they enjoy. They would understand that all of this would go away if they died. Therefore, they would change their ways in an effort to be healthier and to hopefully live longer.

One thing they would do is exercise. They would pick a form of exercise that they enjoy, such as walking, running, or rollerblading, and they would do this exercise a minimum of three to four times a week. Working out regularly would help them to lose weight. In addition to exercising regularly, there is somethign else that ehy would do to lose weight: they would eat better.

Rather than regularly eating high-calorie foods and many sweets on a regular basis, they would eat these foods just once in a while and instead choose healthier foods. Eating healthier would also help them to lose weight. Losing weight would help them to avoid conditions that woudl shorten their lives, such s heart disease. By being healthier, they could look forward to living longer. By being healthier, they would also feel better and be more fun to be around. They could look forward to being around to enjoy many family functions, such as graduations, weddings, and birthdays. By being healthier, they might also be around to attend their high school reunion, which would allow them to reunite with old friends.

If yur doctor advises you to lose weight, take his advice seriously. You deserve to live a long, healthy life. Do not risk having it cut short by not taking care of yourself.
