Ok, let's get real;How much water do you drink a day? I'm willing to bet it's not enough. When your dieting and working out water is our best friend. The pro's are endless. Most people don't know the significance in the amount of water you drink daily. I'm going break down the basics for you.

Did you know that you can burn up to sixty calories just by drinking eight ounces of ice cold water? Think about it, if you drink eight glasses of water a day(which is the recommended amount) you can burn up to 512 extra calories total in your day! I'll tell you why. When you drink ice cold water it takes energy(calories) to heat it up inside your body. See the fluid has to be at your bodies regulated temperature for it to be processed within your system. Water just like anything else needs to broken down so your body can use it.

Everything in your body depends on water . Common knowlege right? What you don't know is, every chemical reaction that occurs in your body happens within water ( Like breaking down of fat cells) . picture your body as an electric machine. Everything functions on a message carried basis. One neuron fires to the next sending messages of what is needed out of the body. Just like an outlet to a light.

Your muscles are where most your toxins are stored . Water helps to flush these out so their not hanging around in your body. I mean it's not an overnight thing but it deffinently helps. When you exersise rigorously, lactic acid builds up in the muscles. This is where your soreness comes from. When you drink mass amounts of water it helps to neutralize to acid and ease the pain. It also aids in the reconstruction of the tissue you just got done tearing up in the gym.

Skin shows who drinks a lot of water and who doesn't.( Sorry to say, it's the tell all). People who drink water regularly through out the day as habit generally have clear ,vibrant skin. The reason being is the toxins and discresions of the body are being removed as fast as possible through one way or the other. There are plenty of avenue's for them to take.(when properly equipt) You get rid of them through your pores in your skin and through the digestive system.

Water is also a great way to fool your stomach into thinking it's full too. If you drink a glass or two right before you eat and one during it will take half as much food to fill you up. It's really a win ,win. you feel full and you've just cut your caloric intake into a fraction of what it would have been.This with all three meals could show big results in your waist line. Not to mention helping what you did eat pass through freely.

Replacing what you lose through sweat during activity is essential. I think you see why. You can actually stunt your results by not hydrating properly. Besides you can't go wrong with this, it's fool proof! Just by making this little change you can really make a big difference in the way you look and feel. Keep that in mind the next time your attacked by thirst.
