Everybody and her friend knows that the world is full of, a lot of fad diets. There are pills and surgeries and other weight loss programs lying around all over the house.But have you ever thought or heard about diet based on your age?.When you come to think of it most people do not think about their age when it comes to losing weight, it's one of those thing that just does not occur to people, why should it? What has age to do with diet and being over weight? Well to be honest with you it has everything to do with it - EVERYTHING! Today out there are many diets on the market specifically catered for young people and for this reason they only work for young people,You must remember a young person metabolism works at a different rate than an older person metabolism hence forth, what is created with a young person in mind will not work in the older person.

As we grow older our bodies change in more ways than one,for instance our hair may start to lose its colour, or our eyes may not be as sharp as they were when we were in our 20's.The same thing happens to our body weight.Where as in our 20's we were able to keep our weight constantly under control due to the speed at which we lived life. In our 30's and 40's and 50's gradually the pace of life starts to slow down and as the pace of life slows what we eat does not get burned up as quickly as it used to in our younger days.And therfore it leaves us with the slight problem of being overweight. that is our body needs more or less of certain foods to keep them working properly.What we must realise is that the population in their 30's and 40's today  need more fruits and vegetables that someone in their teens or twenties. As we tend to be not as active as we get older.That is why we have to adapt to eating foods that will work with us and not against it.

Eating the right food at the right time, can give you a feeling of more energy and more vitality as opposed to eating the wrong foods which may cause you to be more tired and slow.Remember we must have a good diet plan in place because as we age we need more of certain vitamins and minerals that can be found in fruits and vegetables,and by eating right we can also lose weight more effectively and naturally
