The list of weight loss tips for men really isn't different from the list of weight lost tips for women, after all the basic formula of weight loss is exactly the same for either gender, which is energy input has to be reduced or energy output has to be increased or a combination of the aforementioned.

Realistically there are some differences in suggesting weight loss tips for men. Most men are not interested in being pedantic enough to count calories or keep a food diary and wouldn't join an aerobics class that is full of women. If they were present at a female dominated exercise class, then I think it would be more a case of checking out the women rather than getting fit or losing weight.

The first of my weight loss tips for men, is to not bother about counting calories but just be mindful of what you are eating. Steamed or stir-fry is a far better option for cooking than deep frying. Make sure you eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, also make sure that you get enough protein - that's right gents, you can have a nice piece of steak, just be careful of what accompanies it.

Another of my weight loss tips for men is still diet related and it is just eat less than what you normally would. Don't starve yourself, but maybe you can follow the example of the people from Okinawa in Japan who have the philosophy of eating to about 80 percent full.

My list of weight loss tips for men includes the following advice about exercise: be more active. If you feel like joining a gym or taking up a sport you haven't played in years, as long as your doctor would agree, then go for it! But if you are not the athletic type, use as many opportunities to walk as possible. Take the stairs at work, if you catch a bus or train to work, get off earlier and walk the rest of the way. Walking might be really simple but it is also good exercise. If you want to find a specific exercise program to aid in your weight loss, then I would recommend a program based on weights and resistance training rather than a cardio style of workout because the latest research findings state that weight training gives quicker results.

Men, whatever you decide to do for some weight loss, and not what your girlfriend/partner/wife etc decides for you, I wish you success.
