Any person desperate to lose excess weight is always searching for tips to escalate this process. Today I am going to show you ten simple ways to begin getting that ugly surplus flesh moving. It is nothing you cannot begin to put in place immediately and the sooner these ideas become part of your everyday eating plan the sooner you will achieve that slim, trim, toned body. Many peoople have a vague concept of what constitutes a healthy eating plan for weight loss but few put these ideas into practice.

Fruits and Vegetables.

You've probably lost count of the number of times you've heard that eating more fruits and vegetables each day is a good way to not only improve your health but also to help you lose the surplus weight you may be carrying. The wider the variety of these foods that you eat the more nutrients you will be getting into your body. Some dieticians suggest thinking of a rainbow when selecting what you're going to put on your plate; the more colourful the better. Also this type of food is great at adding extra fibre into your diet which is important for a healthy colon. It has been said that we can hold up to a kilo of unhealthy rubbish in our colon at any one time which clearly is not condusive to good health.

Reduce Saturated Fats.

Saturated fats are the nasties of the fat brigade. As saturated fats generally come from animal fats it is important to trim excess fat from all meats. Alternatively, stop thinking you must have meat at every meal; try eating pulses and legumes as a replacement a couple of times per week. Saturated fats can lead to heart disease and are known to increase harmful cholesterol.

Watch Your Intake of Trans Fats.

Trans fats are chemically altered fats and are even more harmful to our bodies than staurated fats so it is vitally important to reduce any intake of these types of fat. Trans fats are not natural fats and can be found in most processed foods such as cakes, pastries and takeaways. These should not be on any healthy weight loss plan.

Increase Omega 3's

These are great ant inflammatories and can be found in linseeds, flaxseeds and oily fish such as salmon and mackerel. They assist with brain health and supple joints. Try to have at least three serves per week for your health's sake.

Increase Pure Water

Drinking more water each day assists with flushing toxins through the body and keeping the colon clean. Dehydration can cause fatigue and lack of concentration. It is worth remembering that at least sixty percent of our bodies are made up of water so it's worth keeping it clean. It also assists with flushing that ugly fat out of our bodies.

Eat Breakfast Daily

Breakfast has been proven to assist with weight loss. Try to avoid heavy breafasts which consist of fried foods and starches. Opt for fruit, yoghurt, wholegrains or eggs. There are many foods suitable for making a filling breakfast without it being bad for those trying to get rid of surplus weight.

Remember Wholegrains

If you're serious about losing weight and getting healthier then dich the white flour. White bread, pastries, cakes, biscuits and all things made with white flour are detrimental to your overall health. Reach for the wholegrains which will give your body additional fibre plus vitamins B and E not to mention additional fibre.

Be Aware of your Salt Intake

Too much salt can not only lead to high blood pressure but can also accelerate Alzheimers disease. This is because most flowing salt shakers contain aluminium which is found in the brains of Alzheimer patients. Salt is found in many processed foods especially those in cans so even if you watch how much you use in cooking remember these other sources. Salt tends to make our bodies retain water and leads to that bloating feeling.

Adding Fibre to Your Diet.

We have already mentioned fibre but as it is so important to your health it deserves to get a mention of its own. It is contained in fruit and vegetables but if you think you need extra it is wise to take a fibre supplement such as in powdered form which dissolves in water. You should be aiming for eighteen grams of fibre per day but just keep in mind the need for extra water.

Follow a Balanced Eating Plan.

There are many eating plans on the market but it is impossible to go past a natural diet for good health and weight loss. A natural diet is exactly how it sounds and consists of utilising all the above tips and turning them into a lifestyle way of eating. The more natural the food the better it is for you, the idea is to leave behind the processed foods forever.
