Poop And Urine Anyone?

When raccoons along with bats, squirrels, mice, rats and birds are left to run wild in your attic or soffit, you need to wonder where the poop and urine is going?

Nowhere is the answer it is sitting in your attic rotting and creating malady. which I discussed in my last article "welcome to the dangers of poop".

Everyday there are animals pooping in your attic of you usually clean house. If people only knew your attic was full of shit. Wouldn't you be the talk of the town, in not a good way. We actually can be very discrete with our attic clean out services.

If you leave poop in your attic to fester, it will turn into mold and new life in the form of parasites and molds called Malady.

If these malady and other contaminants mixed with more poop, and more poop. Raccoons like every other human do it everyday. Don't even get me started on the urine that is puddling under your insulation. Seeking out the first little open they can find to start soaking into the drywall of your ceiling. Have you ever gone into a house and up in the bedroom there is a Rusty coloured stain on the ceiling? That's urine that has soaked through the drywall and into the paint paint. the ammonia and other little goodies soak into the paint changing the colour yellow at first, to orange, to rust as it gets worse.

If it is seeping into your ceiling then it will eventually make it's way through the vapour barrier and into your walls and duct work. Once the urine has made it that far everything in the entire house:

you need to leave your home and have professionals that know about feces cleanup handle this:

  • all affected areas need to be quarantined
  • all of the duct work will need to be disinfected and vacuumed
  • any and all contaminated drywall, wood, insulation or any other fillers that have been infected need to be removed properly and safely
  • the contaminated areas need to be cleaned, dried and vacuumed with a hepa vacuum
  • then you have to look at putting everything back together again

If your problem reaches this stage you can be looking at ups of 10's of thousand of dollars to repair. You won't even be able to sell your property until it is fixed, Due to bilaws. So if you think you are having a problem with animals in your attic, do something about it now while it's a cheap fix.

Even when the animals are removed their bi products will still be there. Everyone thinks that OK I'll get a trap and get them out myself. Fine and dandy, then get you but up in the attic with the mold and poop and start cleaning.

  • Don't worry about your eyes and lungs burning cause you were too much of a man to wear a respirator.
  • Don't worry about the skin rash that's in a weird circle on your arm.
  • Don't worry You've only contracted a case of ring worm from the raccoon poop because you didn't handle the attic clean out properly.
  • There are professionals that do this for a reason.
  • But that's alright, your proved your point. your a man, your took care of your business. It doesn't matter that the bags leaked he contaminated waste all throughout the entire house when you carried them out of the attic.
  • So you'll have company when you go to the doctor and tell him that your whole family has ringworm. Great, that's right up with there poop in the attic.

Don't worry about that cause you have much more serious problems. when you didn't wear the mask and trampled those contaminated garbage bags you breathed in the very dangerous mold spores and now you have Lung Disease.
