Choosing The Perfect Wedding Wine

So you’re preparing for a wedding and you suddenly realize how many things have to be managed and arranged for. We often pay attention to the bigger tasks, such as picking the right dress or the cake. However, it is usually the little things that make this important day perfect. Take the job of choosing the wedding wine, for example. Choosing the perfect wine consists of many factors such as the number of guests and the wedding menu, but more than that; what matters is the taste of the wine. It has to appeal to both the bride and the groom. So how exactly should one go about this seemingly herculean task?

Check Your Fund

To buy the right amount of wine, the first thing you have to take into account is the number of guests that will be at your wedding. For example, let’s say that you will have 100 guests at your wedding, considering that each guest might have more than 2 glasses of wine; you might have to go north of 40 to properly account for the event. However, another thing you have to take into account is your own budget. While buying wine for your wedding is essential, you have to ask yourself where the best place would be to get your wine, and whether buying the right amount won’t blow up your budget.

Choosing Between Red, White and Rosé

Red

Let’s put the sparkling wine to the side, as it will be used for the toasts. Choosing the right wine for your wedding depends on a number of factors, including your own taste. Red Italian wine is the most classic choice for weddings, and is usually served with a hearty menu. Also, since red Italian wine appeals to almost all, it is chosen as the perfect crowd pleaser. Another reason why red wine is very popular is because some of the best wines are available for every price range. For example, going for a classically loved wine such as the Chianti Classico wine from Montemaggio is a great option. Not only is the taste of the wine intense, but it is also a very versatile wine that can be served with many different kinds of cuisines and meals.

White

White wine for a wedding is a bold choice but a welcome one. White wines such as the Chardonnay add just the right amount of zest into the proceedings. White wines are loved because of their buttery and oaky flavor as exhibited by the Chardonnay and paired with the diverse styles of food can add to a unique dining experience which can only add to the overall festive and sophisticated atmosphere of a wedding.

Rosé

Fruity and refreshing with high acidity, the Rosé is quickly becoming one of the most loved wines for weddings in many parts of the world. The taste of Rosé is crisp and just sweet enough that it does not overwhelm, which is very much favored by those who have a delicate palette and wish to savor their wine which hits just the right spot for them. Also, since Rosé can be served in any weather and adjusts quite well with many different meals, it is becoming just as favored for the big day as the red and white wines.

Want to indulge in a wine tasting experience which would give you a better idea about which wine will work best for your wedding? Then here’s your chance to indulge in some of the best Tuscan wine. Montemaggio Estate offers all a chance to taste their wide collection of Italian wines, so go ahead and begin your preparations for your special day with the best wine proprietors to guide you.
