For some women, trying to get conception can be challenging. Sometime it may cause anxiety and stress, especially if you have tried a lot of efforts but there is still no result.

There are many different factors and problems that cause fertility problems. Sometimes, the problem is related to certain physiological issues. But for many couples, the reason behind their fertility problem may be much more difficult to define.

The following are 4 crucial points you need to concern as well to get pregnant fast and easily!

Find the day of your ovulation!

We all agree that timing is so crucial to create a conception. If you seriously want to get pregnant fast, you need to know the days of your ovulation (the time of when eggs released from ovaries).

Though sperm can live for about 5 days in the female reproductive tract, but on average egg only can live for about 24-36 hours. So if you want to improve your chance of creating fertilization, you should be intimate with your lovely partner about 3-4 days before ovulation.

There are some ways to tract the day of ovulation, one of them is by tracking your menstrual period. If you have regular period, you can calculate and determine your most fertile day easier.

The average length of menstrual cycle is about 28 to 32 days. The exact timing of ovulation varies from woman to woman. While some women get it at the day-12 of the cycle, others find it at the day-20 of the cycle. According to WebMD, on average ovulation occurs between day 11 and 21 of the menstrual cycle.

Furthermore, the time of ovulation is also often associated with the changes of basal body temperature (BBT) and cervical mucus.

Just prior to the release of egg from ovary, the level of your basal body temperature drops about a half degree, and then it rises again after ovulation. So, don’t forget also to track the fluctuation of your basal body temperature for about 1-2 months. With this idea, you will find a pattern take shape.

Changes of cervical mucus are another sign of ovulation. Just before you ovulate, your mucus will seem thinner, clearer and more copious than usual. By regularly checking the changes of your cervical mucus and coordinating this step with the sign of your BBT fluctuation, you should be able to nail down the most fertile time of your body.

Manage your stress as well!

Though the direct link between stress and fertility is still debatable, more new scientific evidences continue to mount that there is a connection between both issues. Overall, most experts agree that stress should be avoided when you are trying to get pregnant.

You may not able to avoid fertility-related stress, but you should be able to manage it as well! So, what can you do? Anything that can help you feel relaxed is your option. Don’t go too far when thinking about stress management. You can start from simple things, such as doing your hobby, gardening, listening music that you like, or even holding hands with someone that you love can help reduce stress.

Eat healthfully!

As mentioned before there are a lot of factors that contribute to cause infertility, and many experts believe that poor diet may play a key role. According to a research from the Harvard School of Public Health, the following are some dietary tenets to boost your chance of conceiving:

  1. Full your diet with high-fat dairy products (such as cheese, whole milk, and ice cream). But don’t eat them too much - consume these foods in moderation!
  2. Foods high in fiber (such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) are also recommended. At the same time, don’t forget to gradually reduce the intake of sugars and refined carbohydrates.
  3. Choose plant-based protein (such as soy products) instead of animal-based protein (such as red meat).
  4. And choose monounsaturated fats (such as walnut, olive oil, and avocados) instead of saturated fats and trans fats (such as full fat milk, fried or baked foods, etc)

Manage your healthy weight!

Maintaining the ideal weight of your body also can help improve your chance of getting pregnant. Some studies found that having too high or too low levels of body mass index (BMI) can affect the ovulation and even may also disrupt the production of some reproductive hormones.

Furthermore, women with unhealthy weight are also more likely to have irregular periods or even extremely irregular menstrual cycles. So if you are being overweight or being too thin, do appropriate diet and moderate exercise to restore your healthy weight!
