Fitness Women Really Want  -  Fitness Program For Women

After several hours of listening to, talking with, and observing women, I've concluded that there aren't many fitness programs available that woman really want to embrace. I know you ladies are thinking, DUH, but this is not widespread understanding among the fitness world. Simply look at the fitness magazines and all of the different training techniques on the market......most, if not all of them, are geared toward advertising massive, bulky muscles with veins exposed everywhere....a physique that a normal woman is avoiding like the plague.

So, what are ladies trying to find on the subject of fitness? I've devised a list of do's and don'ts in relation to a woman's wishes for fitness.

#1 - They don't want over sized, bulky muscles.

It really is true, as I mentioned above, that women would rather stay away from a fitness plan all together if it signifies looking like a female version of Rocky . They do not want 22 inch arms that "fill up" T-shirts. They do not want a V shaped back that look like they have wings. This could be hard for those of us wanting these things to understand, but just because you may want that doesn't mean they should also!

#2 - They want to look feminine.

Yes, I'll admit it, I do not consider a woman with arms as large as mine desirable. In truth, it really is quiet the opposite. Great news for me is that most women would agree that being bulked up is not something they would consider "pretty". Women desire their bodies to be slim, toned, and sexy. Think Jessica Alba right here. They would like to fit into that size 3 dress. They wish to wear their "skinny" jeans. They wish to appear feminine, and that is certainly attractive!

#3 - They don't want to eat like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

That's right. Women would prefer to not eat 150 grams of protein a day. Can you blame them? Why, you ask....mainly because eating large amounts of protein is hard to do everyday and it causes some serious stank on the exit! Ask any woman that's married to or dating a protein guzzling guy. There's not much attractive about a woman pounding down protein shakes, eggs, etc and afterwards blowing up the ladies room with stinkbombs!

#4 - They want results.

Women don't have the luxury of wasting time . Many of them have a full time job, kids to look after, a house to keep clean, and a husband to keep happy! I'm tired from just writing this list. If a woman is to take time out of her busy day to "workout", she will understandably quit if she doesn't see results. Bottom line, ladies are busy and "working out" is only worth it if they have tangible outcomes to show for the effort their exerting.

So, women, I apologize for our lack of supplying you with the things you will need in regards to accomplishing your goals when it comes to fitness. I just wanted to take a moment and speak up for my wife and the rest of the women out there that feel these same frustrations. I also want to encourage all of you to stay the course. Great resources are available to help women with the same objectives as the ones mentioned above. Remain true to your ideals when it comes to a workout plan and don't fall for the lies that have been told and sold at fitness centers across the country.
