Natural treatments for perimenopause is the preferred method of dealing with the sometimes life impacting symptoms of perimenopause. No it’s not a disease although some women feel as though it is. However, it can be debilitating if you let it.
Perimenopause is not premenstrual syndrome (PMS) on steroids although (PMS) and perimenopause (the period in a woman’s life when her body is transitioning to the menopause stage) have some similar symptoms.
Most women experiencing PMS have some changes in their emotional and physical state of being, which starts after ovulation occurs and ends once menstrual flowing starts. For some women they become irritable while others become down or depressed. Some women experience anger while others tend to become sad. As you know, although the experience is unpleasant for most women, the changes they go through can be totally different.
For a more severe case of PMS it would be called PMDD or premenstrual dysphoric disorder and is considered more severe because the woman’s life tends to be disrupted. PMDD can actually negatively affect relationships and life because of the mood swings and other behavioral changes women experience.
