The Best Cellulite Treatment for Women Today

Cellulite treatments have not really advanced over the last few years, mainly because the fact remains that cellulite is still plain old fat. It is not some kind of special fat that is impossible to get rid of, it’s not a build up toxins and nor is it water retention.

Cellulite is caused by a sedentary lifestyle and diet, hormones and research shows that it is hereditary.

We all are aware to some degree of how to get rid of cellulite naturally. Through diet and specific exercises to target those areas where fat accumulates.

Dieting and exercising are not only time consuming but will take some willpower to accomplish. Unfortunately time is not something that most women have due to todays lifestyle being so hectic.

It’s ironic that the lifestyle we find ourselves caught up in, is the very thing that causes cellulite to get worst. Most women will have cellulite, regardless of age, whether you are fat, thin, big or small. The fact that around ninety percent of women have some degree of cellulite seems to make it acceptable.

In a lot of cases it’s only when women get older and their cellulite naturally becomes more visible, do they think about doing something about it.

So why are there so many different treatments available?

There is not a quick fix treatment that will get rid of cellulite. What there is, in abundance, are treatments that will reduce the appearance of cellulite. These range from creams through to surgery.

The creams are probably the most convenient to use. Rub it in everyday and over a period of time your skin will tighten and your cellulite will appear less prominent. The main drawback is that if you stop using you cellulite cream it will begin to appear again.

Another thing to point out is the cost. Some of the creams that are available are exceedingly expensive. Finally, some of the creams have, what can only be described as irritating ingredients.

An example is Murad Firm and Tone Serum. One of the ingredients is esculin, which is a component of horse chestnut. This is considered toxic and isn’t recommended for topical application by a number of experts.

Body wraps are another popular cellulite treatment. These can be applied at home or you can have them applied at a Spa clinic. If you choose the second option then again it can be expensive, especially as you will have to go on a regular basis.

The last treatment I want to discuss is Liposuction. This technique has been used by the rich and famous for years to remove unsightly fat. Expensive yes and not for the faint hearted. On a positive note this treatment will last considerably longer than some of the others, but again, failure to change your lifestyle and eating habits will cause the cellulite to reappear.

There are a few other treatments available but again the results will only be temporary. There was, is and will only be one cellulite treatment that will get rid of cellulite naturally.

Plenty of treatment options Mike, but all will need repeating eventually. As you say, it's only through diet and exercise that manages it. Everyone has it, looking to cure it yet the solution is to work on managing the issue at hand.
